WHAT IS PIN SHOOTING?

Pin shooting is the sport of shooting bowling pins off a table in the fastest time.

Richard Davis, the inventor of Second Chance body armor, is widely credited with inventing this shooting sport. Mr. Davis hosted the Second Chance Pin Shoot in the Michigan's northern lower peninsula. The match drew pin shooters from all over the world.

The LCSC Pin Shoot

The LCSC pin shoot uses t-stands(see picture above). Pins are set on t-stands in groups of 5 at 25 feet from the firing line. A shot timer with a buzzer is used to start the event. The shooter must shoot the pins off the t-stands. The shot timer stops on the last shot at the group. If for some reason pins are left standing, the shooters will get a default time of 15 seconds.

There are many different classes of shooters, iron sights auto, iron sights revolver, dot sights auto, dot sights auto, open, iron sights carbine, and dot sight carbine.
